What Are Aliases Used For?
When processing transactions to perform a calculation, aliases are used to credit sales events to users or teams. Aliases can be user names, user emails, territory names, but also user or team IDs - if this is what your transactions contain. Good to know: - Aliases defined on users allow transactions to be credited to them
- Aliases defined on teams / territories allow transactions to be credited to them
- When you add a user or team, default aliases are created
