What Is An Alias?


When processing transactions to perform a calculationaliases are used to credit sales events to users or teams. Aliases can be user names, user emails, territory names, but also user or team IDs - if this is what your transactions contain. List all variants to ensure proper crediting (case-insensitive comparisons will be used for matching). 

Good to know:
  • Aliases defined on users allow transactions to be credited to them
  • Aliases defined on teams / territories allow transactions to be credited to them
  • When you add a user or team, default aliases are created
