There are two ways you can invite users:
- Send them an email yourself (recommended)
- Run the add user wizard
Send Them An Email Yourself (Recommended)
Invitation emails do NOT require any special invitation link. They can be sent directly by you to your payees. All your need to do is ask users to sign up for a Sales Cookie account with the correct email address.
To get a complete list of users and their email addresses:
- Login to your workspace
- On the left pane, click on "Users > Overview"
- Click on "Export All"
Your invitation email could specify the following:
- Browse to https://salescookie.com
- Click on "Login" on the top right corner
- Click on the "Sign Up" tab <- important
- Enter the right email address
- Choose a password
- Click on the "Sign Up" button and follow the steps
This article explains how the sign up process works and can be included in your email. You could also instruct them to use a specific login method (ex: Microsoft, Google, SalesForce, etc.). In this case, users won't be asked to choose a Sales Cookie password.
Run Through The Add User Wizard
When running the add users wizard, you can choose to send an invitation via email:
If you've already setup everything and are just adding a couple of payees, then notifying them as you add to your workspace them is reasonable. Otherwise, refrain from inviting users until everything is setup for them.
Please note that it is possible to run the add users wizard a first time (without email notification), and then re-run it a second time (with email notification this time).

Users with the Participant role will NOT see any admin function (ex: settings, calculations, teams, etc.) and will land on their incentive dashboards. To impersonate users and see their dashboard exactly the way they will see it, use Direct Access.

Remember, your users must sign up the first time they login. Whether you have us send an invitation email, or send them invitation emails yourself (recommended), all you really need is make sure they receive clear instructions explaining how to sign up for a Sales Cookie account. Assuming they sign up with the correct email address, they will land on their dashboard.
Sign Up Is Required
When inviting users, make sure to tell them to choose sign up the first time they login.
The initial sign up process is required because it allows users to: - Choose a way to login to Sales Cookie
- Confirm that they own the specified email address
- Review the privacy policy, terms & conditions
Sometimes, new users get confused and try to reset their password before even signing up. This will never work until they confirm their account via the initial sign up process.
