What Is A Plan Snapshot?

What Is A Plan Snapshot?

When you submit a sales incentive plan for calculation, we take a snapshot of your plan at the time the calculation was started.

The benefits are:
  • The calculation is not affected by changes made to the plan while the calculation is occurring
  • You have an immutable, read-only version of the plan used for the calculation (this is useful for auditing purposes)

You can access the plan snapshot for any calculation using the following steps:
  • Login to your workspace
  • On the left pane, click on "Calculations > All Calculations"
  • Search for the calculation
  • Click on the calculation row
  • Click on the "Overview" tab (if needed)
  • Click on "View Snapshot"
  • The plan snapshot is displayed to you
