How Can I Credit Specific Fields For A Given Plan Only?

How Can I Credit Specific Fields For A Given Plan Only?

Assume that you've imported sales transactions and mapped fields A and B to category "Owner / Sold By". By default, when you run a calculation, the engine will process both fields A and B, find matches, and credit users.

However, suppose that you now have a plan for which you only want to take one of those fields into consideration (or even a different field altogether).

To override which fields to take into consideration for crediting:
  1. Edit your plan
  2. Click on "Targets" (if needed)
  3. In "Crediting Fields Override", specify one or more fields
    1. Use a semicolon to separate fields
    2. Example: My Other Field (Imported);Another Field (Imported)

Field Names
Field names should match exactly the name displayed when you go to Transactions > All Transactions > Customize. You should always append (Imported) or (System) as shown in the above example.
