Best Practice - Configure Payout Limits

Best Practice - Configure Payout Limits

By configuring a maximum payout limit for your incentive plan, you can work with a budget.

If the specified maximum is exceeded during calculations, we will re-allocate financial rewards based on each user's initial reward.

For example, if your plan's maximum is $900, and the following users were initially awarded:
  • Alice - $900
  • Bob - $450

Then we will readjust values to:
  • Alice - $600
  • Bob - $300

We recommend using this option to cap total plan expenditure.

Note that other options are also available to cap payouts not just based on the plan's total spend, but based on user salaries, etc.
