How Can I Create a Single Plan Which Applies Different Quotas to Different Users?

This article explains how you can create a single sales incentive plan but apply different quotas to different users. For more information about how to configure attainment levels and thresholds, click here.

When you configure attainment levels for your plan, select option "As Percentages Of a Per-Target Quota".

Next, enter a custom variable name such as "@@MyQuota". What this will do is instruct the crediting engine to dynamically retrieve a value from each target user when performing calculations.

Next, edit each target user, and click on the "Custom" tab. Add a custom variable called "My Quota". In this example, this user now has a quota of 100K.

You can now apply the same plan to many users. When you submit a calculation, the engine will dynamically retrieve the "MyQuota" property for different users, determine their attainment level, and compute rewards.
