How Can I Automatically Re-Run Calculations?


This article is for administrators who want to automate a daily re-run for some calculations. Note that you remain responsible for starting new calculations each pay period. Note: we also have a different mode which fully automates calculations - click here to learn more.

You can enable a daily re-run of specific calculations by doing the following:
  • Start a calculation
  • Edit your calculation
  • Click on the "Automation" tab
  • Check the "Re-Calculate Daily"
  • Click on "Save"

Different options are available:
  • Re-Calculate Daily - this re-runs the calculation every day until you release rewards (once rewards have been released, re-runs will stop)
  • Delete Previous When Re-Calculating - this automatically deletes the previous calculation after a manual or automated calculation re-run
  • Auto-Release Credits On Re-Calculate - this automatically releases credits after a manual or automated calculation re-run

All calculations which are automatically started will appear as started by "Sales Cookie".

Note: this option makes sense if you've added a connection to an Accounting, CRM, or Financial system because Sales Cookie receives new and modified sales transactions every hour. It allows you to re-calculate daily based on new facts.
